The Chooseday public launch

We are all becoming aware of climate change, but how can we do anything about it? It all seems too big and complex. Something needs to shift. How would it be if Tuesdays became a focus across the Bristol region for us all to re-imagine our lifestyles - a day on which we choose to live differently.

This is Chooseday - why don't you join in?

Chooseday will begin with the challenge that every Tuesday we will 'choose' to leave our cars at home.  Come and join us at 8.30am this coming Chooseday (30^th) by Burke's statue on the ground between Colston Avenue and St Augustine's parade - near the fountains.

We are inviting people to come from all over the city by any and every possible means of transport other than the private car. That means walking, skating, cycling, horseriding, pogosticking, swimming, taking the bus or train or whatever carbon-lite transport you choose. We are expecting everyone from the legal profession through to a world champion skateboarder!

We want the event to have a positive and celebratory feel, gathering as many people as possible from about 8.45 to 9.15, entertaining each other and the media, and joining in an all-together photo. Breakfast will be available from the stallholder there and we will aim for a great time. Wear the T-shirt if you have got one - available from www.chooseday.org
